Hi, I’m Jane.

I’m an entrepreneur, writer, and teacher. I write about ways to increase your mental clarity, motivation, and passion for making wise financial choices. I investigate the link between living a life of purpose and financial empowerment. I’ve been interviewed as a financial expert by Forbes, The Huffington Post, and The Financial Diet. I contribute articles to Business Insider, The Observer, as well as the Thought Catalog, and I publish my own blog here.

I received my A.B. in government at Harvard University. My former life included being a portfolio manager for hedge funds and semiconductor analyst on Wall Street.

I share my findings every Sunday in my newsletter, The Mission Stories. I don’t know much about much, but I do know how money should play an active supporting role in your life.

Our Mission:

My ultimate goal is to help you live better. So, I ask in all of my writings, how do you live now? And, what’s blocking you from moving forward?

Often times, people are frustrated with their financial situation. In an economy where median wages have been stagnant for more than a decade, you’re right to feel that way. Your ability to manage your own money well has become crucial. The days of relying on financial advisors to sell you a bunch of products are over.

So, I teach people how to become financially self-reliant, or financially free. However, that only represents half of my mission.

The other half lies beyond financial goals and even beyond the individual. I ask, what are the organizing principles that govern our ultimate success in creating a life we love and finances to support it with ease? What struggles do we share in getting there?

What are the most effective ways at achieving a deeply fulfilling financial life?

I hope you’ll join me in finding the answers to these questions.
